My blog was originally inspired by the birth of our son James (aka JJ) in 2015. More specifically his sleepy smiles made me want to share my experiences of being a first time mother. For the first 4 years the blog was called His Sleepy Smiles.
Since then we have had our second son Silas in 2018 and as of September 2019 I will no longer be a stay at home mum, but a mum AND a student midwife. This has made me want to change the blog a bit to include more about our life and not only motherhood, hence the change in the title to now be Our Sleepy Smiles, because we have plenty of those in our lives.
